Volunteer: Halloween Celebration!The Brady Senior Center will be having a indoor trick or treat for Halloween! Volunteers will help guide the trick or treaters as they walk through the center and assist the clients with handing out candy. Volunteers are welcome to dress up in costume as well! Please keep the costume appropriate and child friendly. Face paint is welcome but please no face masks. If you are unable to join on the event day but would like to still be involved, the center is accepting bags of candy to hand out! The Brady Senior Program at Marillac is a place for seniors to continue to grow in their later years by keeping their minds, bodies, and spirits active through a community setting! They foster meaningful relationships with staff and volunteers through what could otherwise potentially be lonely and isolating years. To reach each senior, our program promotes cognitive, physical, and spiritual engagement, as well as nutritional support to maintain overall well-being. Duties/Responsibilities Physically, be able to stand for long periods of time. Able to follow guidelines. Able to clean quickly and well. Help lead bingo, card games, and other fun activities that keep spirits high! Your support will help seniors stay active, engaged, and socially connected. Duties Include: Set up and prepare game supplies Keep track of scores and verify winners Encourage and assist seniors, including providing accommodations for those with mobility challengesTime of Service: Monday- Friday 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM Fuel the fun by serving warm meals—and even warmer smiles! Help create a welcoming mealtime experience for our seniors. Duties Include: Breakfast Service: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM Lunch Service: Monday-Friday 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM Bilingual volunteers (English & Spanish) are encouraged !
