Volunteer: Disaster Relief Application Support – Help Families Recover Faster!

Join our team to support disaster survivors in the City of Irving by reviewing relief applications and helping families get the assistance they need.

What You'll Do:

Review applications to ensure they meet program guidelines. Communicate with clients by responding to emails, requesting missing documents, and keeping applicants informed. Organize and update digital client records in our Apricot system. Process financial assistance by submitting check requests and tracking disbursements. Provide key updates to the program manager on application statuses and client needs.

What You Need:

No prior experience required—we’ll train you! Helpful skills include: Attention to detail and organization. Basic computer skills (email, data entry). Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Location: Catholic Charities Dallas – Mockingbird HQ. Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Schedule:  Flexible- anytime during business hours. 
Commitment: 4–6 weeks

✔ Online abuse awareness trainings
✔ Reference checks
✔ Interview with staff
