Volunteer: 2026 Bishops Gala: Clean Up and Tear Down

Volunteers will assist Catholic Charities staff with:

Coat check

Helping guests take items to checkout or valet

Picking up and disposing of trash

Cleaning the Volunteer Ballroom

Each group will have a captain who will provide direction and on-site training. Volunteers are expected to serve for the full duration of the shift, with opportunities to rotate for breaks and enjoy the evening’s entertainment — Kool & the Gang!

Commitment

As a Coat Check Volunteer, you'll be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have a seamless and welcoming experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the magic behind the scenes while engaging with attendees and contributing to the success of this unforgettable evening.

Volunteers will assist a Catholic Charities Dallas staff member in this area Attention to detail matching number tag with coat as they are checked in. Ensure each guest receives the number tag of their coat Hang coats up in an organized manner As guests leave, ensure number tags match the guest tag. 


Each volunteer group will be assigned a captain that will provide further training and assistance to the volunteer group regarding their roles. Volunteers will be expected to work the duration of the evening, but there is time to rotate for breaks so that all can enjoy the show.
