Help bridge the language gap and provide essential support to our clients by volunteering as an interpreter. In this role, you will partner with case managers to facilitate clear communication, ensuring clients can fully access the services and resources they need.
This opportunity can be done remotely through phone or video chat or in person, depending on your availability during business hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Languages Needed: Spanish, Dari, Pashto, Arabic
Responsibilities:

Translate verbal communication between case managers and clients.

Support during meetings, appointments, and intake interviews to ensure accurate information exchange.

Assist clients in understanding documents and forms in their preferred language.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Requirements:

Proficiency in English and at least one of the needed languages (fluent in speaking and understanding).

Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret clearly and accurately.

Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with diverse communities.

Prior interpretation experience is helpful but not required.
