We are seeking a dedicated and friendly volunteer to assist in the intake process for clients at our organization. As an Intake Assistant, you will be the first point of contact, providing a warm welcome and ensuring clients' needs are addressed promptly. Your role will help create a smooth and respectful intake experience for those seeking assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer general questions and provide basic information about the services offered.
- Notify case managers or other team members when clients arrive.
- Assist clients in completing necessary forms or documentation.
- Provide administrative support, including filing, organizing, and data entry.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold a respectful intake process.
Skills & Qualifications
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of office software (Microsoft Office or Google Suite) preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in customer service or office settings is a plus, but not required.
Schedule & Commitment
- Shifts available Monday–Friday
- 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
- 1:00 PM–5:00 PM
