We’re looking for volunteers to help with our Refugee Christmas Gift Distribution Event, ensuring a smooth and joyful experience for families in need. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community and spread some holiday cheer!
Event Details:
- Date: December 14, 2024
- Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (volunteers are not required to stay the entire time)
- Location: 8102 Lyndon B. Johnson Fwy, Dallas, TX 75251
Volunteer Roles Include:
- Verify Client Appointments: Help confirm client appointments and check them in.
- Gift Distribution: Hand out gifts to clients with a warm and welcoming attitude.
- Donation Distribution Tables: Assist in organizing and distributing donations to families.
- Log Donations: Keep track of donated items and ensure they are assigned to the correct families.
- Dessert Table Assistance: Help set up and serve items from the dessert table.
- Parking & Client Direction: Assist with parking and guide clients to the gift distribution area.
Volunteer Time Commitment: You do not need to volunteer for the entire 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM timeframe. Please let us know your availability, and we will assign you to a shift that works best for you. Thank you for your generosity and support this holiday season!
