Make a lasting impact in a young adult’s life.
Catholic Charities Dallas is seeking compassionate, dedicated volunteers to serve as Mentors in our International Foster Care (IFC) Program. This program supports unaccompanied youth and refugee minors as they build independent, successful lives in the United States.
About the RoleVolunteer mentors play a critical role in supporting young adults (18+) who are transitioning into or currently enrolled in supervised independent living. Each mentor is thoughtfully matched with a youth based on location, interests, and individual needs to create a strong and supportive connection.
As a mentor, you will serve as a positive role model and trusted adult, offering encouragement, guidance, and consistency. You’ll help your mentee set personal, educational, and career goals—and support them in working toward those goals.
