Fall Universal Day of Service – Brady Senior Center Beautification Project

Calendar Happens On Oct 3, 2026
Time 8-12pm

Description

Join Catholic Charities Dallas and the Archangels Men's Network for our Fall Universal Day of Service! Volunteers will help improve the appearance and welcoming atmosphere of the Brady Senior Center, creating a brighter and more inviting space for the older adults we serve every day.

About the Brady Senior Center

The Brady Senior Center serves adults age 60 and older by providing a safe, welcoming community where seniors can stay active, connected, and independent. Through social activities, wellness programs, nutritious meals, and supportive services, the center helps combat isolation and promotes healthy aging. By helping beautify this space, you'll support a community where older adults can build meaningful relationships, access resources, and age with dignity.

Volunteer Activities

  • Interior painting
  • Refreshing landscaped areas
  • Painting outdoor features
  • General beautification projects

Your time and effort will help create a welcoming environment where local seniors can gather, build friendships, and continue to thrive in their later years.

Age Requirements: 14 is the minimum age. Volunteers 14-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times & must submit their Minor Volunteer Waiver before the shift.

Please Note: The Fall Universal Day of Service includes three project sites across Dallas. If this project does not receive enough volunteers to complete the planned work, volunteers may be reassigned to another service location where additional support is needed.
