Position Description: Join us as we celebrate Fair Day! The Fair Day Games Assistant will assist with preparing and facilitating the physical recreation games for the seniors at Brady. The ideal volunteer for this activity will be bilingual in Spanish and English (recommended but not required), cheerful, enjoy physical activity, and show a high level of excitement! The CCD Games Assistant will provide the opportunity for the seniors to enjoy a fun-filled activity and win a prize bag filled with items such as toiletries, candy, snacks, and word search puzzles!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setup/prepare game supplies
- Keep track of scores
- Verify game winners
- Support seniors with encouraging words and provide accommodations for seniors with mobility challenges

- Following the directions of the assigned supervisor in a manner that is conducive to a productive work environment
- Maintaining professionalism and respecting the confidentiality of vulnerable clients who are seeking our help
Intended Outcomes: As a CCD Brady Program Volunteer, you are directly working to alleviate loneliness and lack of care among the seniors of North Texas. Your service as a Fair Day Games Assistant enables us to help those in need in our own community increase their physical abilities as well as mental wellness.
