St. Jude Center- Forest houses formerly homeless individuals aged 55 and up. This multi-phased homelessness and housing project is a collaborative effort between Catholic Charities, Catholic Housing Initiative (CHI), Metrocare, Housing Forward, and more. We are seeking dedicated volunteers to support our residents and enhance their experience at the center.
The computer instructor will provide hands-on instruction in teaching basic computer usage skills, as well as basic smart phone usage. Instruction may include use of and hazards on the Internet and email platforms. Lessons can include how to access emails, social media sites, how to use Google, and Internet safety. Any handouts and instructions produced for the seniors to reference would be much appreciated.
Role will start October 2026
