Description

St. Jude Center Park Central houses formerly homeless individuals aged 18 and up. This multi-phased homelessness and housing project is a collaborative effort between Catholic Charities, Catholic Housing Initiative (CHI), Metrocare, Housing Forward, and more. We are seeking dedicated volunteers to support our residents and enhance their experience at the center.

Available Volunteer Roles:

Event Support Volunteer
As an Event Support Volunteer, you'll have the exciting opportunity to plan and assist with events for our senior residents! You will provide support for monthly birthday parties, Bingo nights, movie nights, and holiday celebrations. Event tasks may include:

  • Event setup
  • Food distribution
  • Game hosting
  • Event teardown

Front Desk Volunteer
As a Front Desk Volunteer, you’ll be the welcoming face at St. Jude Center, responsible for ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring building access
  • Greeting visitors and checking them in and out
  • Answering phone calls
  • Filing and organizing documents

Enrichment Workshop Volunteer
Do you have a special talent or craft to share? We’re looking for volunteers to lead enriching workshops for our residents. Whether it’s Zumba, sewing, or quick meal prep, you’ll have the chance to share your passion and teach valuable skills to the community.
